Owned by former England cricketing legend Matt Prior, ONE Pro has recently been promoted after their first season from a Continental team to a Pro Continental team and has the potential to race some of the most prestigious races in the cycling world.

It is also the first team to come out of the UK and will be working directly with Factor Bikes on the development of new high performance bikes and equipment.

Owner of ONE Pro Cycling Matt Prior said, “Right from the beginning of our relationship with Factor Bikes it was clear that our values and ambitions were the same. As a British team, we’re very proud to be partnering with a new and exciting British bike brand. The ability to work with Factor Bikes to develop equipment which will give us a performance edge is a unique opportunity that will help ONE Pro Cycling reach the top level of the sport.”

Co-owner of Factor Bikes and former road racer Baden Cooke said ONE Pro Cycling share the same core values as the company and hopes to grow with them all the to the top of professional cycling.

“With Factor Bikes’ obvious British DNA we think that ONE Pro Cycling is the perfect fit and cannot wait to see our bikes in the Pro peloton. Ever since meeting Matt Prior and hearing about his vision and ambitions for his team, we knew that we had to be a part of this journey.”  Cooke said.

The team will be riding three Factor models this coming season, the aerodynamic Factor ONE, the versatile Factor O2 and the Factor ONE-S, which has the mainframe and aero profiling as the Factor ONE but with a traditional non-integrated fork, steerer and handlebar design to allow riders to fine-tune bike fit if they’re at the extremes of height. From a production bike point of view, it also means a lower retail price over the ONE.

This year’s time trial bike will be unveiled at the Tour Down Under on the 18th of January, so keep a close eye out for all the details surrounding that bike.
