A record 18 Australians started the second Grand Tour of the year, the Giro d'Italia.

A stark contrast from the 2020 Tour de France which featured only two Aussies - Caleb Ewan of Lotto Soudal and Richie Porte from Trek Segafredo - Australian representation at the Giro is second only to the home nation of Italy.

The 2020 Giro'd'Italia Route

Riders will race the 3497km Giro route over 21 days from October 3 to 25. 

The 2020 edition of the race features 3 Individual Time Trails, 6 significant mountain stages, 7 rolling stages and 5 flat stages.

Coverage wise, the race is available via Eurosport and the GCN RacePass app.
