COVID-19 Crisis: Noosa Classic Postponed Until 2021

Organisers of the Noosa Classic are truly saddened to announce the 2020 event has been postponed until 2021.

This year’s event is yet another casualty of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) global pandemic.

The event was scheduled for August yet the overall time frame of this period of major disruption remains unknown. We feel it is only fair to our loyal community to act decisively, offer as much notice as possible, and postpone the popular event now.

The 2021 Noosa Classic will be held on Sunday 15 August. We are in the process of advising all riders and their registration will automatically transfer to the new date. Riders are also able to request a refund, more information on this is available on the Noosa Classic website.

Be assured the Noosa Classic is one of the best loved, most popular and highly anticipated Gran Fondos of the year. The event survived a torrential mid-ride downpour in the first year, attracted even more riders in the second year, and organisers pledge to redouble their efforts to make it the nation’s absolute premier winter cycling event of 2021.

Yes COVID-19 has hit us hard this year, but we will be back stronger, bigger and better than ever.

The Noosa Classic team will post relevant updates on the event website and social channels. Again we thank riders, supporters and stakeholders for their ongoing support. Most of all we do appreciate your heartfelt understanding during this unprecedented time.
